The par-72 Pines course, designed by the esteemed golf course architects PGA Design Consulting, stands as the signature course of Sueno Golf Resort and a true golfer's paradise. Its meticulously maintained fairways seamlessly glide through densely wooded surroundings, while the presence of meticulously placed island greens adds an element of anticipation to each approach shot. Considered the more challenging of the two courses, the Pines layout poses a test for golfers with low handicaps and has the potential to be selected as a venue for the PGA European Tour.
Within the Pines Course, there are numerous exceptional holes, making it difficult to choose a single signature hole. However, our vote goes to the par-4 12th hole. Nestled among ancient pines, this hole features a dogleg to the right, demanding players to navigate around the trees and land on a narrow fairway before approaching a green protected by two expansive bunkers and further surrounded by trees. Despite its relatively short length of 374 yards, this hole requires strategic thinking rather than raw power, providing a captivating challenge for golfers.
